This role involves leading large-scale technology initiatives , managing global stakeholders, and ensuring seamless delivery. A key aspect of this position is leading a team of 5075 professionals , with significant people management responsibilities and the ability to collaborate effectively with US counterparts during overlapping hours ( 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM IST ). Key Responsibilities Define and execute technology strategy aligned with global objectives. Lead end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) including architecture, coding standards, testing, and deployment. Oversee API development, microservices, DevOps practices, and cloud adoption (AWS/Azure) . Manage people leadership for a team of 5075 professionals, including performance reviews, mentoring, and career growth. Collaborate with US-based teams and executives , ensuring cultural alignment and effective communication across time zones. Drive innovation through automation, AI/ML integration, and modern frameworks . Provide oversight on IT infrastructure (10%) including cloud hosting, security, and governance. Ensure compliance with data security standards (SOX, GDPR, PCI DSS) . Manage vendor relationships and global delivery partnerships. Candidate Profile 15+ years of IT experience , including 810 years in global banking technology leadership roles . Strong expertise in enterprise software development (Java, .NET, Python) and cloud solutions (AWS/Azure) . Proven ability to lead large technology teams (5075 members) across geographies. People management as a core strength , with experience in team building, retention, and performance optimization . Hands-on knowledge of infrastructure fundamentals, security, and hosting environments . Comfortable working with US-based teams , with availability for 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM IST overlap .
